Research interest
My goal is to study the epidemiology of infectious diseases using molecular markers (enzymes and nucleic acids) in order to obtain a better understanding of several problems of medical interest : i) the differences between the commensal and the pathogenic isolates among opportunistic pathogenic species, considering E.coli as a model, ii) the evolution of antibiotic acquired resistance and its relationships with the structure of the species, iii) the survey of particular bacterial clones among the intensive care units
